About the Role:
Transamerica is seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. This role provides accurate and complete information on retirement, life, and annuity investment products while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will collaborate with a team empowered to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls with professionalism, providing accurate information about retirement, life, and annuity investment products.

  • Identify customer needs and deliver personalized service for meaningful outcomes. Escalate to senior team members as necessary.

  • Research information using multiple systems and technologies.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve customer inquiries efficiently.

  • Document inquiries, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain accurate records.

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of products, procedures, and systems.

  • Meet or exceed departmental metrics and goals.

  • Collaborate within a team environment to achieve shared objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year in a call center, customer service, or financial services environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of retirement, life, and annuity investment products.


Work Environment:

  • Remote or call center setting.

  • May require varied shifts.


Compensation:

  • Salary range: $34,000 – $42,000 annually (estimate; actual pay varies by experience, location, and qualifications).

  • Eligible for an annual bonus based on company plan and individual performance.
