We are currently recruiting for our Ludlow branch, a multiskilled location where the branch is closed to the public every Tuesday and Friday. On these days, you’ll support customers primarily via our Savings Line and offer banking support remotely — delivering the same first-class service Nationwide is known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll become a trusted advisor across all channels — counter, phone, and digital — guiding customers through their everyday banking and savings needs.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Support customers at the counter, process transactions, and promote our digital tools

  • Spend 1-2 days per week handling inbound customer calls for savings and banking support

  • Deliver exceptional service across all platforms: in person, over the phone, and online

  • Offer clear, confident guidance tailored to individual customer needs

  • Promote financial well-being and ensure customers feel supported and valued

  • Work in a collaborative team, sharing knowledge and celebrating success

You must live within 45 minutes of the Ludlow branch. If not, explore our 600+ branches across the UK for closer openings.

Training & Development

Your first 3 weeks of training will be delivered virtually from the branch, designed to set you up for success. For this reason, we ask you not to book any annual leave during this time.
