What a Restaurant Manager Does in Customer Service

As a Restaurant Manager, your primary responsibility is to provide top-notch support to clients and internal teams. You will validate shipment and replenishment locations, maintain accurate purchase order entry, and act as the first line of contact for any data discrepancies. By doing so, you help maintain smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.


Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager

  • Serve as the main point of contact for sales and healthcare professionals, offering solutions to inquiries and challenges.

  • Ensure accurate entry of purchase orders across multiple platforms, including Bill Only, Ship and Bills, GHX, and future EDI systems.

  • Check and validate incoming surgery product usage cases for precision.

  • Build strong relationships with hospital billing specialists to support billing processes and product usage questions.

  • Provide proactive updates to accelerate billing and ensure smooth customer experiences.

  • Assist sales representatives with product pricing, discrepancies, and other inquiries.


Key Duties for a Restaurant Manager in Daily Operations

  • Record customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions in the system.

  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to verify order details and resolve discrepancies.

  • Research and provide detailed responses to customer questions via phone, email, or fax.

  • Support sales by tracking and following up on purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment.


Required Qualifications for a Restaurant Manager

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with order entry, Oracle, or account management is a plus


Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $20.08/hr – $32.87/hr plus bonus eligibility
