We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in healthcare benefits. In this role, you’ll support participants and clients with Flex Benefit plans (FSA, HSA, HRA, DCA), serving as a key point of contact via phone and email while maintaining compliance with internal policies and HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for participants and clients on eligibility, benefits, claims, and general plan inquiries.

  • Respond to inbound calls and emails with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.

  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the tracking system.

  • Navigate multiple systems and tools to resolve customer needs.

  • Translate processes into clear, understandable information.

  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

  • Collaborate with team members in a positive, solutions-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in medical, health insurance, or call center settings.

  • Experience with consumer-directed benefits (FSA, HRA, HSA, DCA) strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Alegeus (Wealthcare) and CSIpack a plus (training available).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Reader.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.

  • Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $35,000–$40,000 USD annually.

  • Additional opportunities for bonuses, merit increases, and commissions depending on the role.
