AgState is hiring a dedicated Feed Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to our agricultural customers. As a Feed Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for feed and grain products, managing orders, contracts, and customer inquiries. Role Overview: Feed Customer Service Representative

As a Feed Customer Service Representative at AgState, you will handle customer interactions both in-person and over the phone, providing expert support for feed and grain products. You will maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to a seamless customer experience while supporting the operational efficiency of the organization.


Key Responsibilities for Feed Customer Service Representative

Customer Service & Order Processing

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding statements, sales, bids, grain contracting, pricing, and historical account activity

  • Take and process customer orders for feed, grain, and related products with complete accuracy

  • Provide proactive solutions to customer questions and concerns, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationships

Contract & Grain Management

  • Prepare and manage grain contracts, settlements, and issue settlement checks as required

  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations related to grain transactions, including liens or government holds

  • Track grain transfers, lot numbers, and scale tickets to ensure proper record-keeping and operational transparency

Operational & Team Support

  • Coordinate feed orders, milling, purchase orders, invoicing, and outgoing grain shipments

  • Maintain detailed records of grain movement and customer interactions

  • Promote a collaborative work environment while fostering positive relationships with colleagues and customers

  • Contribute to a productive, engaging, and values-driven workplace culture


Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 2–3 years of relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting, computer skills, and spreadsheet proficiency

  • Valid driver’s license to perform operational tasks

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive customer service approach
