Role Overview: Customer Service Representative at CVS Health

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the face of CVS Health, handling inquiries from members and healthcare partners. Your responsibilities include resolving issues, providing guidance on benefits, educating customers, and documenting all interactions to ensure accurate and timely service. You will actively contribute to customer satisfaction and support the company’s mission of delivering more connected, convenient, and compassionate healthcare experiences.


Key Responsibilities for Customer Service Representative

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Actively listen to customer needs and provide guidance to resolve inquiries efficiently

  • Educate customers on available resources and benefits options

  • Document all customer interactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Escalate priority issues to the appropriate departments when necessary

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with team members and cross-functional departments to address service challenges

  • Follow policies, procedures, and the CVS/Aetna Code of Conduct

  • Suggest ways to improve processes for enhanced customer experience

Performance & Accountability

  • Achieve first-call resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction

  • Maintain schedule adherence and quality standards in all interactions


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of customer service experience

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Reside in the Pacific Standard Time Zone

  • High-speed internet access for remote work

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of contact center experience (calls, chats, email)

  • Microsoft Office experience

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent


Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting pay: $18.50/hour

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)

  • Flexible schedules to accommodate business needs

  • Pay range: $17.00 – $31.30/hour based on experience, education, and location
