UnitedHealth Group’s Optum division is seeking Remote Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to provide support for providers and patients regarding prescription orders and pharmacy benefits. Primary Responsibilities of a Remote Customer Service Representative

Respond to incoming calls from providers and patients regarding prescription status and delivery issues.

Conduct outbound calls to providers and patients on prescription orders and payment matters.

Research complex issues across multiple databases and provide accurate, compassionate guidance.

Document all customer interactions and follow established procedures using authorized online tools.

Maintain compliance with company policies and telecommuting requirements.

Participate in 6 weeks of training (virtual classroom, shadowing, and nesting) to ensure proficiency.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; must be 18 years or older.

6+ months of customer service experience using phones and computers.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to navigate multiple systems, document issues accurately, and provide solutions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport.

Flexibility to work any 40-hour weekly shift within business hours:

PST: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

MST: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

CST: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

EST: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
