Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a full-time Customer Support Specialist (CSS) to join our Sustainable Mobility Group. You will be the voice of Connecticut’s passenger rail and transportation programs, supporting riders of CT rail Shore Line East, CT rail Hartford Line, and CTrides. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping people, skilled in multitasking across technology platforms, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding service via phone, live chat, and email.

Respond to questions, resolve issues, and process requests professionally.

Send real-time service alerts to keep passengers informed.

Research and share information on transportation services in Connecticut.

Use multiple systems simultaneously to manage tickets and respond quickly.

Conduct follow-up calls to ensure issues are fully resolved.

Support quality control reviews and assist with AI support tools.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
-
High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service support role.

Experience using multiple technical programs and systems simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
Additional Requirements
-
Must reside in Connecticut and maintain CT residency.

Availability for some weekend shifts.

Complete a 3-week in-person training program in Rocky Hill, CT.

Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office workspace.
Compensation
-
Annual pay range: $40,705 – $55,952, based on education, experience, and location.
