Role Overview:
GA-CCRi is seeking an experienced Cyber Analyst with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to join their team in Charlottesville, VA. This role focuses on administering and securing IT systems using industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage public and private key cryptography.
- Automate security implementations using configuration management tools (Puppet).
- Create search queries to extract security information from system logs.
- Perform CVE checks and vulnerability patching log audits.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Monitor systems for security threats and maintain firewalls.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity threat forecasts.
- Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives through project planning, education, and outreach.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- At least 2 years of system administrator experience (Windows and Linux preferred).
- Experience with networking protocols, cryptography, and encryption.
- Experience with configuration management code (Puppet), scripting, and Regex.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
Desired Skills:

- Experience with NIST and DFARS compliance.
