As a Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst, you will play a critical role in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating real-time cyber threats impacting IT, OT/ICS, cloud, and AI systems. Key Responsibilities of a Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst
In this role, the Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst will:

Analyze ongoing cyber incidents, events, and vulnerabilities to recommend mitigation strategies.

Provide written guidance and recommendations for JCDC partners to address cyber risks.

Deliver insights on threats across IT, OT/ICS, cloud, and AI environments.

Translate technical findings into clear, practical recommendations for stakeholders of all sizes.

Help tailor cybersecurity strategies to meet the needs of diverse organizations.
Required Skills for a Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst
To succeed as a Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst, candidates should have:

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance (EOD/Public Trust).

3+ years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or incident response.

Strong understanding of computer and network fundamentals, operating systems, and vulnerabilities.

Experience writing detection rules and analyzing malicious behavior.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize technical insights.
Desired Skills for a Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst
Preferred qualifications for the Jr. Cyber Incident Analyst include:

Knowledge of the .gov Cyber Mission and FISMA requirements.

Familiarity with scripting (Python) and automation for threat analysis.

Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows tools, MITRE ATT&CK, and AI/ML-driven anomaly detection.

Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CTIA, CEH, GCIH, GREM, GCFA).

TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
Salary & Benefits
