Overview
Centerline is seeking a Manager, IT Cyber Security to lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy and operations. As the Manager, IT Cyber Security, you will oversee the protection of networks, systems, and sensitive data, implement security policies, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring collaboration with IT teams, business units, and compliance teams to align security initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Cyber Security Management

Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

Assess and manage risks across IT systems, networks, and data.

Architect, deploy, maintain, and upgrade security toolsets to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular security audits and maintain certifications.
Incident Response Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents, from detection to mitigation.

Perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation efforts.

Prepare detailed incident reports and apply lessons learned to enhance defenses.
Security Operations & Monitoring

Monitor alerts from SIEM systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

Respond to security events in a timely manner, escalating as needed.
Collaboration & Training

Work with HR and business units to integrate security policies into workflows.

Develop and deliver employee training on security best practices, phishing awareness, and handling sensitive data.

Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security.
Experience
-
5+ years in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in managing EDR/MDR, email security, SIEM, and security frameworks.

2+ years supervising cybersecurity or IT teams.

Experience as a systems/network administrator and familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, and cloud security.
Certifications (Preferred)

CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar credentials.
Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of networking protocols, web application security, and cloud security.

Proficiency with security tools (Intune, Checkpoint Email Security, Action1, Cisco Umbrella, Sonicwall).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving, planning, and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
