Key Responsibilities:

Conduct incident response investigations on both Windows and Linux systems.
Monitor and assess emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.
Participate in purple team activities, utilizing offensive security tools (e.g., BAS solutions) to enhance detection and defense mechanisms.
Perform proactive threat hunting and assessments aligned with IT architecture.
Analyze, tune, and interpret SIEM logs, system events, and alerts for improved threat detection.
Develop, document, and validate security configurations aligned with industry standards such as CIS Benchmarks.
Create and maintain cybersecurity incident response playbooks and runbooks, ensuring readiness for potential threats.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for candidates with a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity. A combination of the following qualifications will be considered:

Solid expertise in securing both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with SIEM platforms or conducting incident response investigations.
Experience in cybersecurity forensics is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally across teams.
Proven ability to manage and complete multiple assignments efficiently.
Preferred certifications: GCFE, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCWN, GMON, GCUX, GCDA.
