Position Overview
ECLARO is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support Project Luminate, with a focus on managing cybersecurity requests, troubleshooting, and maintaining the security integrity of all associated systems and components. This role is critical to ensuring the ongoing protection of enterprise infrastructure and aligning security practices with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain firewall policies and Zero Trust security rules to safeguard network traffic and data integrity.
Continuously monitor logs and alerts generated by firewalls and VPNs to identify and respond to unusual or potentially malicious activity.
Ensure all firewall and Zero Trust configurations comply with internal security policies and external regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to firewall configurations and Zero Trust implementations.
Collaborate with network and IT operations teams to investigate and remediate security incidents promptly and effectively.
Partner with cybersecurity professionals, network engineers, and IT staff to enforce best practices and maintain a strong, proactive security posture.
Participate in cross-functional security initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization’s overall cyber defense strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.
Proficiency with Zero Trust security solutions, especially tools like Zscaler.
Working knowledge of endpoint protection technologies such as CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms, particularly Splunk, to support log analysis and threat detection.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Rate: $50 – $55, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
