Job Summary
Join CommonSpirit Health as a Cybersecurity Analyst focused on Physical Security, where you’ll help create a safe, secure, and technology-driven environment for our colleagues, patients, and visitors. In this role, you’ll support our Physical Controls Program, implementing and maintaining security technologies and systems that align with our organizational mission and national cybersecurity standards.

This is a remote position reporting to the Director, Cybersecurity Physical Controls.

About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Physical Security, you’ll use your technical expertise to support and enhance applications, systems, and tools that protect our facilities. You’ll participate in the deployment and management of security technologies of moderate complexity, helping strengthen CommonSpirit Health’s overall physical and digital safety posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of Physical Security and Facility Management technologies.

  • Perform operational, analytical, and troubleshooting tasks related to system issues and incidents.

  • Identify risks, process improvement opportunities, and operational performance concerns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and selected external partners.

  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

  • Ensure all activities comply with change management procedures and documentation standards.

  • Support testing, validation, and deployment activities during product releases and upgrades.

  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base materials, user documentation, and training resources.

  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members as needed.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure timely issue resolution and system availability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technology or healthcare field.

  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally supporting security or technology applications in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with structured project methodologies (Agile preferred).

  • Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and modern integration technologies is desirable.

  • Operational proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, LucidChart, and Microsoft Visio.

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex, matrixed organization.

Compensation
Hourly pay range: $38.34 – $57.03, depending on experience and location.
