Cybersecurity Analyst
Dedicated Tech Services, Inc. (DTS) (Onsite in Cincinnati, OH)
Join our award-winning IT consulting firm in a part-time Cybersecurity Analyst role. You’ll serve as a technical expert and liaison to law enforcement, establishing cyber threat priorities, assisting partners with security policies, reporting intelligence, and supporting outreach efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical expert and liaison to law enforcement personnel on cyber matters.
- Establish cyber threat priorities within the area of responsibility.
- Assist partners in developing cyber-related policies and procedures.
- Report cyber threats and intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
- Support outreach to local, state, federal, and private/public sector partners.
- Analyze intrusion artifacts to aid in incident mitigation and perpetrator identification.
- Assist in developing security policies and procedures for partner networks and applications.
- Explain incident details to client personnel and support lower-level security staff.
- Assist with data processing audits and participate in information security risk assessments.
- Serve as a liaison with internal and external users.
- Provide timely information on emerging and operational cyber threats.
- Assist in threat analysis, policy formulation, and strategic resource application.
- Develop comprehensive strategies to address and eliminate threats.
- Apply a holistic approach to enhance intelligence, investigations, and national security.
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least one (1) year of specialized experience in recognizing and analyzing emerging cybersecurity issues, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- 12 months training or experience in Information Systems/IT with a focus in Software Engineering/Development, Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, Database Administration, Network, IT Security, Cyber Threat Analysis, or Help Desk/Customer Support.
- OR: Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent graduate coursework (see full description for specifics).
- OR: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with at least one (1) year of experience.
- Experience developing intelligence and risk assessments for critical infrastructure IT and OT systems.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality written assessments and briefings on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on cybersecurity service delivery data.
- Experience supporting regional incident response operations during cyber events.
- Ability to assess systems/networks for policy and configuration deviations.
- Experience assisting in outreach to various partners.
