Job Summary
Join Caterpillar as a Cybersecurity Analyst on the Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management Team. This role is focused on DevSecOps transition, web application security testing, and security tool integrations within the SDLC. You will partner with application teams, advocate secure development practices, and drive efficiency in vulnerability management processes.
What You Will Do

Advocate “Shift Left” practices and DevSecOps transformation.

Support Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) services and tooling.

Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines and secure SDLC processes.

Educate web application teams on application security and vulnerability management.
-
Partner with VM leadership to improve processes in ServiceNow and related tools.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of application security procedures and directives.
What You Have
-
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
-
2–5 years’ experience in Cybersecurity, Penetration Testing, or Vulnerability Management.

Hands-on experience with DAST tools (Rapid7 Insight AppSec, Acunetix, Burp).

Strong knowledge of OWASP guidelines (web/mobile/API security).
-
Familiarity with SDLC processes, secure coding, and security tool integration.
Top Candidates Will Also Have

Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CISM, GWAPT, GWEB, etc.).

Development/testing experience in .NET, Java, or modern frameworks.

Cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure).

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
