Webster is hiring a Cybersecurity Senior Analyst to identify, investigate, and resolve security threats. You’ll develop enterprise-level detection and protection measures, maintain security controls, and report on findings. Mentoring junior analysts and improving security technologies like SIEM, DLP, EDR, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities include:
- SIEM review and alert triage.
- Managing data protection tools (DLP, URL filtering, CASB).
- Analyzing insider threats and endpoint security (EDR, antivirus, asset management).
- Working with next-generation firewalls and IDS/IPS.
- Conducting threat hunting and utilizing threat intelligence platforms (TIP).
- Analyzing malware sandbox results.
- Contributing to incident response processes and tools.
- (Desired) Splunk Enterprise Security experience.
- Understanding vulnerability and configuration management.
- Leading independent projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Proven technical skills through independent work.
- Expertise in identifying, triaging, and analyzing security events using a SIEM.
- Strong understanding of attacker techniques.
The salary range for this role is $115,000.00 to $130,000.00, with potential for incentive compensation based on experience and location.
