Job Summary

Pellera Technologies is looking for a Cybersecurity Service Desk Agent to join our growing team. This entry-level role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to break into the cybersecurity industry. As part of Pellera’s managed services environment, you’ll monitor, manage, and secure client systems while investigating cyber threats and supporting defensive security operations.

This is a night shift role (midnight–8 AM EST). Please apply only if you can commit to these hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and secure client systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Detect, track, and investigate malicious cyber actors and threat campaigns.

  • Analyze a wide range of security threats across different technologies.

  • Escalate incidents based on standard operating procedures.

  • Document incident details and maintain accuracy in the ticketing system.

  • Communicate professionally with clients to provide updates and resolutions.

  • Support additional cybersecurity and service desk tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong passion for launching a career in cybersecurity.

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and investigative mindset.

  • Basic knowledge of cyber threat actors, campaigns, and security fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security, patch management, and vulnerability management.

  • General understanding of computing, networks, and security principles.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with ticketing systems.

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience.

  • CompTIA certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CySA+) are a plus.
