Overview
Acadia is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist – Email & Cloud Collaboration Security to safeguard our Microsoft 365 and cloud collaboration environments. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced security controls across email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT, IAM, compliance, and business teams to strengthen cloud security posture, reduce risks from phishing and business email compromise, and promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Email & Cloud Collaboration Security

Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 and cloud collaboration security.

Implement controls to prevent phishing, BEC, data leakage, and other cloud-based threats.

Monitor security incidents and provide operational support to maintain secure configurations.
Policy & Configuration Management
-
Develop and enforce secure policies for email and cloud collaboration tools.

Manage encryption, DLP, safe links/attachments, and secure sharing configurations.
Identity & Access Security
-
Collaborate with IAM teams to implement MFA, conditional access policies, and privileged access management.

Ensure accounts and access permissions align with security best practices.
Cloud Security Controls

Support the security posture of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and SaaS platforms.

Integrate CASB/SSPM tools, security monitoring, and configuration baselines.
Network & Endpoint Security Integration

Work with infrastructure teams to integrate collaboration platforms with firewalls, secure web gateways, and EDR solutions.
Data Protection & Compliance

Align cloud security with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, SOX, PCI, GDPR, and other regulations.

Collaborate with Data Protection & Risk teams on DLP and insider risk measures.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

Stay updated on emerging cloud threats and advanced attack techniques.

Recommend and implement security enhancements.

Partner with IT, IAM, compliance, and business units to align initiatives with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4–6 years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in Microsoft email, cloud, or collaboration security.

Experience in governance, networking, and compliance preferred.
Expertise & Skills
-
Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools: Defender for Office 365, Purview, Intune, Azure AD Conditional Access.

Strong understanding of phishing, BEC, CASB, and SaaS security posture management.

Ability to communicate complex security threats to non-technical audiences.

Skilled in managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering solutions on time.

Familiarity with NIST, ISO frameworks, and healthcare regulations like HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert

CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC Email Security Professional (GWEB), HCISPP, or equivalent
