Role Of Job
As a Data Analyst within the Data Product Management team at MeridianLink, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into valuable insights that drive decisions for internal teams, partners, and customers. Your primary focus will be creating data products, analytics, and AI/ML applications that extract actionable insights from both structured and unstructured data. By providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, you will empower business leaders with patterns, trends, and insights that guide strategic decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources to evaluate business performance. You will generate actionable reports that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for improvement, and perform root cause analysis to address operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate to design and build intuitive data visualizations that provide deep insights into complex business challenges within the Fintech industry.

Develop and maintain a solid understanding of data flows, available data, and standard reporting across MeridianLink’s systems.

Identify the critical business data required to generate impactful insights and enhance future analytics.

Maintain an inventory of current and future data use cases for analytical and AI/ML applications.

Guide stakeholders and data users to the appropriate certified datasets and reporting resources.

Contribute to the design and development of business intelligence tools and AI/ML applications.

Ensure the quality and consistency of data through effective monitoring of data management processes.
Qualifications:

Analytical expertise with a passion for translating data into meaningful stories.

Proven experience working closely with business partners to identify trends and anomalies in data that can improve business processes.

Hands-on experience curating data using Business Intelligence tools and/or SQL/Python for business analysis.

Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, SiSense, and Tableau.

Excellent communication skills for gathering business requirements and aligning business strategies.

Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

Experience with enterprise business systems like Netsuite and Salesforce.

Knowledge of Agile development frameworks and DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).

Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent work experience.
