Key Responsibilities for a Data Analyst
Your Day-to-Day as a Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you will:

Collaborate with business reporting stakeholders to gather reporting and analysis requirements

Manage large datasets from Primavera P6, SAP SuccessFactors, and other key systems

Validate the accuracy and integrity of extracted data
-
Support data governance and security standards
-
Apply Murphy’s best practices for coding, documentation, and release processes
-
Work closely with project planners, operational teams, and technical staff
-
Assist with developing and implementing maintenance procedures
-
Provide training, support, and guidance for end-users
-
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders

Support team members and remote users when needed
Required Skills and Experience for a Data Analyst
To thrive in this Data Analyst role, you should have:

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and Power BI
-
Experience with Visual Studio and Azure tools

Working understanding of ETL processes and API integrations
-
Familiarity with construction or civil engineering environments
-
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
