Tableau Developer / Data Visualization Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a deep understanding of Tableau to design, develop, and implement compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, coupled with strong database expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tableau Development Mastery: Leverage extensive knowledge of Tableau Desktop to design and build sophisticated reporting objects, including Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies, Filters, Calculated Fields, Sets, Groups, and Parameters, to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Advanced Graphic Visualization: Create rich and intuitive graphic visualizations with a strong emphasis on modular report design. This includes developing impactful worksheets and views in Tableau, demonstrating a keen understanding of appropriate chart types (e.g., Bar charts, Line charts, Scatter Plots, Heat Maps) to effectively highlight patterns and trends within complex datasets.
- External Integration: Facilitate seamless interfacing of Tableau Dashboards with external portals and diverse applications, ensuring broad accessibility and usability of insights.
- Tableau Server Administration (Knowledge): Possess foundational knowledge of the administration and installation of Tableau Servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of deployed dashboards.
- Database Proficiency: Demonstrate strong proficiency with various relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server and Oracle.
