Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming and structuring large volumes of vendor product data from diverse sources to support the company’s ecommerce platform. Your technical expertise will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and optimization of product listings—specifically within the automotive parts sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop scripts and tools to automate the ingestion, cleansing, and enhancement of supplier product data.

Manage the full lifecycle of the ecommerce product catalog, including adding, updating, and maintaining automotive parts listings.

Create and improve systems that allow suppliers to directly access and enrich their product data.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across product details including titles, descriptions, imagery, pricing, fitment, and attributes.

Utilize the Product Information Management (PIM) system to manage and enhance product listings.

Apply SEO best practices, metadata management, and keyword optimization to boost search visibility and conversion.

Monitor industry trends, competitor catalogs, and ecommerce innovations to continuously improve catalog quality and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with suppliers to gather and refine product data.

Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, ETL tools, and scripting for data transformation and automation.

Programming/scripting background to efficiently restructure and process large data sets.

Prior experience in the automotive industry and/or ecommerce cataloging is an asset.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms, including PIM systems.

Analytical mindset with a focus on using data to drive decision-making.
