 Clinical Data Analyst Role Overview

The Clinical Data Analyst at RVO Health plays a key role in connecting medical expertise with data insights. You’ll build clinically appropriate datasets, support business and product teams, and ensure our health platforms provide accurate and valuable information to users.


 Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Data Analyst

In this Clinical Data Analyst position, your work will include:

  • Creating datasets to support Healthgrades and other RVO Health products.

  • Mapping external medical data into clear and usable formats.

  • Advising sales and marketing teams on effective use of provider clinical data.

  • Partnering with physicians and clinical experts to identify complications and differentiate outcomes.

  • Working with engineers, data architects, and business teams to define data products.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to align analytics priorities with business needs.

  • Building relationships with stakeholders to drive data product adoption.

  • Assisting in provider selection for patient care using advanced methodologies.


 Required Qualifications for a Clinical Data Analyst

To thrive in this Clinical Data Analyst role, you should bring:

  • A clinical background with direct patient care experience.

  • Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, etc.).

  • SQL query-building skills across relational databases.

  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

  • A willingness to learn new technical skills.

  • Curiosity and persistence in problem-solving.
