In this hybrid role, you’ll work both on-site and remotely, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights that empower leadership decisions. Ideal candidates bring strong technical proficiency in SQL, SAS, and Python, along with a passion for analytics and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, organize, and analyze structured and unstructured data to develop moderately complex data models.

Perform data validation, quality checks, and statistical analysis to ensure integrity and compliance with bank policies.

Develop and maintain databases and information systems, identifying and correcting coding or data issues.

Support data governance initiatives by implementing effective process controls and documentation.

Create management and risk reports highlighting trends, patterns, and exceptions.

Support senior management in preparing committee presentations, audit reports, and risk assessments.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical and compliance inquiries efficiently.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in banking, finance, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience in a relevant industry.

Strong experience in SQL, SAS, and/or Python for data analysis and model development.

Proven ability to analyze and visualize large datasets and apply statistical techniques to identify actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to stakeholders.

High attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or information management.

Experience with R, C#, or Java is a plus.

Background in model development within banking, finance, or fraud analytics.

Familiarity with Tableau, TeamMate, and data governance best practices.

Quantitative analyst experience with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
