About the Role
Are you passionate about using data and digital tools to drive positive change? Citizens Advice Northumberland is excited to launch a brand-new role—Data and Digital Innovation Officer—to help transform how we use technology and insight across our services.
This is your opportunity to shape and define a role from the ground up. You’ll work across the organisation to identify digital opportunities, analyse data for real-world impact, and lead the design and delivery of innovative, tech-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insight

Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making and strengthen funding proposals.

Maintain and improve data systems and dashboards to support evidence-based service delivery.

Digital Development & Innovation
-
Identify, test, and embed new digital platforms, tools, or processes that enhance operational efficiency and reduce duplication.

Lead pilot projects for digital transformation and champion scalable solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a key liaison between digital innovation and service delivery teams.

Support and train staff in adopting new technology with enthusiasm and clarity.

Tech Exploration & AI Readiness

Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital tools and cloud-based platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Looker Studio).

Explore the responsible application of AI and machine learning to enhance service offerings.

Essential Skills & Qualities:
