Job Title: Data Business Analyst (Contract)

📅 Duration: 6 months
💰 Day Rate: £600 – £650 p/d (Outside IR35)
📍 Location: Hybrid / London
🏢 Sector: Specialty Insurance

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a data & analytics-driven Specialty Insurer on a 6-month contract. This role focuses on supporting the Data & Analytics & Pricing function, particularly in the rollout of a new pricing platform.

🔹 London Market / Lloyd’s Market experience is essential.
🔹 Hybrid working—3 days per week in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable data insights.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure alignment throughout the project.
  • Support data engineers and data scientists in ETL implementation and data integration.
  • Assist in testing and validating data scenarios to ensure the pricing platform meets business objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst with a strong focus on London Market / Lloyd’s Market projects.
✔ Experience with ETL processes and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
✔ Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
✔ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
