Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. This is a 100% remote position available to candidates located in CST or EST time zones. You’ll work with Agile methodologies and AI-driven tools to deliver high-quality features quickly, collaborating closely with teams across engineering and product.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deliver software features using Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Research and introduce new technologies with a focus on Snowflake Native App development.

Write, review, and maintain clear user and technical documentation.

Ensure code quality through thorough QA and testing practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, participate in on-call support, and onboard clients.

Collaborate effectively with client teams and foster a positive team culture.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong database fundamentals and SQL expertise (relational & non-relational models).

Proficiency in Java or Python and object-oriented programming.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake (preferred), Hadoop, or other big data platforms.

Familiarity with Agile, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, SDLC, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP, Azure a plus).

Understanding of data pipelines, Airflow, distributed systems, and algorithms.

Unix command line and Bash scripting skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $68,000 – $110,400 annually, depending on skills and experience.
