Career Summary
The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and self-driven Data Privacy Analyst to join our Data Governance team. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the protection of personal information and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations across our domestic and global operations. The role emphasizes relationship-building, regulatory compliance, and the development of strong privacy controls that support ANE’s enterprise-wide data privacy program.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data privacy policies, procedures, and control mechanisms.

Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new technologies and data use practices.

Classify data by sensitivity and establish corresponding data handling protocols.

Identify, assess, and remediate privacy risks and non-compliance issues.
-
Monitor evolving data privacy regulations and communicate compliance requirements and necessary controls.

Educate and advise stakeholders on privacy, compliance, AI, and data ethics matters.

Leverage data privacy tools and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and compliance.

Stay current on emerging technologies, including AI/ML, digital advertising, cookies, and consent frameworks.

Respond to data subject access, correction, and deletion requests.

Promote privacy-by-design in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Translate complex privacy regulations into actionable requirements for technical and business teams.

Track and analyze privacy risks, incidents, and audit results to inform program improvements.

Serve as a liaison between the privacy program and key business and technical partners.

Lead and update annual privacy assessments and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Required Education & Experience
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience:
-
3–5 years of experience in a dedicated data privacy role.
-
Strong understanding of U.S. data privacy laws, GDPR, and other relevant international regulations.

Background in risk management and audit practices is preferred.
-
Proven ability to translate regulatory concepts into practical policies and processes.

Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Deep passion for data privacy, data governance, and program development.
-
Certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, or AIGP.

Experience delivering privacy training and awareness programs.

Strong background conducting PIAs and managing privacy compliance documentation.

Familiarity with global privacy frameworks and regulatory operations.

Expertise in data mapping, flow analysis, and lifecycle tracking of personal information.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic business environments.
-
2+ years of experience working in complex compliance or risk-based programs.
-
2+ years of experience developing and implementing privacy-related policies, standards, and controls.
-
Proficiency in privacy management tools and practices.
-
Experience collaborating within global or matrixed organizations.
