As a Data Science Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable, impactful data science solutions that power our SaaS products. You’ll act as both a leader and hands-on contributor, mentoring Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers while collaborating with Product Managers to design and deliver solutions. This role offers high visibility, fast growth, and the opportunity to directly influence product innovation and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Lead execution and technical planning for research, development, and deployment across teams.

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Data Scientists with a focus on professional development.

Develop and implement new algorithms, data product features, and scalable methodologies.

Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to optimize data flows and systems.

Support roadmap definition, prioritization, and release planning in collaboration with Product Managers.

Lead complex projects involving statistical modeling (sampling, classification, predictive analytics, segmentation, etc.).

Deliver insights through data storytelling, whitepapers, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Act as a consultative subject matter expert for internal and external partners.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related quantitative discipline.

5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (or equivalent), including 2+ years in leadership or mentorship roles.

Strong proficiency in Python (or R) and SQL.

Experience applying advanced statistical methods to diverse datasets.

Ability to define key product metrics, track progress, and design internal tools for monitoring.

Excellent communication skills for translating data insights into business impact.

Experience conducting and analyzing complex survey/panel data with advanced data prep techniques (quality handling, imputation, bias correction, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field.

Hands-on experience deploying production code and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, SciKit Learn).

Solid background in database design and warehouse architecture (MySQL, Postgres).

Experience modeling user behavior, marketing insights, or retail/shopping data.

Track record of delivering production-ready data science solutions.
