Responsibilities
Data Expertise & Project Integration

Develop a comprehensive understanding of data—from origin and extraction to interpretation and application.

Gain deep knowledge of Razorfish’s data capabilities and how data integrates into client strategies.

Learn the full spectrum of data services and specialties.

Support coordination of data team responsibilities across multi-disciplinary projects.
Data Strategy

Help identify and prioritize key business questions and objectives based on internal and client needs, with guidance.
Communication Skills
-
Actively listen and contribute constructively in team discussions.

Assist in preparing internal and client-facing presentations with oversight.

Produce clear, concise documentation and summaries of personal work.
Client Engagement
Client Partnerships

Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Manage workload to meet client and internal deadlines effectively.
Relationship Management

Determine when requests require data team involvement.

Identify key internal and external points of contact for project needs.
Tools & Techniques
-
Understand internal and client-specific tools and platforms used for data reporting and analysis.

Support vendor and platform evaluations.
-
Proactively identify knowledge gaps and seek answers via internal resources or subject matter experts.

Translate data findings into clear visualizations (charts, graphs) to support client presentations in PowerPoint.

Conduct QA checks to maintain data integrity throughout the collection, extraction, and activation processes.
Analytics
Planning and Implementation

Assist in developing learning agendas and measurement plans with support.

Begin constructing foundational components of measurement frameworks under guidance.
Insight Generation
-
Understand and apply standard CRM performance metrics such as email click-through rate, offer redemption rate, incremental sales, and margin.

Extract, cleanse, and analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.
-
Demonstrate foundational capability to derive insights and synthesize implications (“so what?”) from analyses.

Use findings to form hypotheses and develop recommendations that support key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
-
Professional experience in a business setting, ideally in digital media, consulting, or other client-facing environments.

Working knowledge of statistical concepts and/or coding languages (or strong conceptual knowledge yet to be applied in marketing).

Proficiency in Excel functions including Pivot Tables and lookup formulas.

Familiarity with SQL base case statements and RegEx.
-
Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) or data visualization tools.
