Key Responsibilities

  • Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques to assess the integrity and long-term stability of risk models.

  • Develop new metrics and data perspectives that enhance the performance and reliability of derivatives risk analytics.

  • Work closely with development teams to build and refine Quality Engineering tools and frameworks, contributing research insights, specifications, and prototypes.


Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.

  • At least 5 years of experience, ideally in the financial industry, with exposure to asset classes like equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

  • Hands-on experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics.

  • Proficiency in Python or R and SQL for large-scale data analysis; familiarity with Java is a plus.

  • Understanding of financial models such as Black-Scholes, Nelson-Siegel, or rates curve bootstrapping is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Exposure to optimization techniques is a bonus.

Compensation Details

The national base pay range for this role is $125,800 to $155,400, with geographic differentials applied as follows:

  • 110%: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; San Diego, CA

  • 115%: Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA

  • 120%: Boston, MA; Washington, DC

  • 125%: New York City, NY

  • 130%: San Francisco, CA

Your actual salary will be determined based on factors such as location, education, experience, and skill set. In addition to base pay, you’ll be eligible for our annual performance-based variable pay and full suite of benefits.
