The Opportunity
Join our Monetization Data Science team and make a meaningful impact on how creators around the world earn income on our platform. As a Data Scientist specializing in Payouts and Creator Economics, you will play a key role in ensuring our compensation systems are equitable, transparent, and innovative. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to refine payout policies, develop new monetization features, and detect and prevent fraud. This role is a strong foundation for growing into a senior technical leadership position.
What You’ll Do

Analyze Policy Outcomes: Evaluate how changes to payout programs—such as eligibility requirements or payment timing—affect creator engagement and overall platform economics.

Develop Creator Insights: Create dashboards and generate reporting to track program performance, earnings patterns, and key payout metrics.

Lead Causal Inference: Apply robust statistical methods (e.g., Difference-in-Differences, matching, inverse probability weighting) to assess the impact of non-experimental policy changes.

Build Data Infrastructure: Own the design and maintenance of data workflows using SQL and Python to support recurring analytics and insights.

Cross-Functional Strategy: Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders and inform product roadmaps through a data-first lens.

Support Innovation: Contribute to the design and evaluation of new monetization features that create opportunities for a global creator community.
What You Bring
Experience
-
3+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field
Technical Proficiency

Expert-level SQL (e.g., complex joins, window functions)

Strong Python (Pandas, SciPy) or R for data manipulation and analysis

Deep understanding of causal inference, experimental design, and quasi-experimental methods
Soft Skills

Strong communicator able to present complex data to executive, legal, and technical audiences

Ownership mindset—comfortable working with ambiguity and imperfect data to drive results

Growth-oriented—ready to evolve from tactical work to strategic leadership
Nice-to-Haves
