About the Role
Numerator is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing Data team. This role offers the opportunity to work on massive proprietary datasets with end-to-end ownership of impactful projects.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll drive the discovery, design, and deployment of data science services across multiple SaaS products. You will collaborate across Product, Data, and Engineering teams to develop solutions that improve methodologies, automate systems, and create innovative data products.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact position where you’ll influence Numerator’s evolution while helping to shape the future of market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead technical planning, execution, and mentorship for other data scientists.

Develop and implement new product features, data products, and algorithmic improvements.

Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Lead projects involving predictive modeling, segmentation, forecasting, and classification.

Communicate outcomes, insights, and innovations to stakeholders.

Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external partners.
What You’ll Bring

BS or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (2+ years with PhD).

Proven leadership experience (manager, mentor, or team lead).

Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Strong communication and data storytelling skills for non-technical audiences.

Experience with defining metrics, setting KPIs, and monitoring progress.

Hands-on expertise in survey/panel data, weighting, imputation, and quality reviews.
Nice to Haves
-
Experience in CPG, FMCG, or retail data analytics.

Cloud and production experience with AWS, Airflow, SageMaker.

Familiarity with Snowflake, MySQL, or Postgres.

Agile methodologies for scoping and estimating data science projects.

Background in user data analytics and behavioral modeling.
