We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our Marketing Analytics team. In this role, you’ll use data-driven insights to guide marketing strategies, optimize customer engagement, and influence key business decisions. You’ll develop machine learning models, build scalable tools, explore new data sources, and play a vital role in shaping the future of data science at Allstate.
Position Overview
- Lead data-driven projects to support marketing strategy and customer segmentation.
- Build, refine, and deploy predictive models that improve campaign optimization.
- Engineer features and select key variables to improve model performance.
- Explore and integrate new data sources to enhance analytical accuracy.
- Develop tools and applications in Python, R, SQL, and Linux.
- Manage medium-complexity projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Begin mentoring junior data scientists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics.
- Proficiency in Python or R (or both).
- Strong foundation in data modeling and analytical techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure ML Studio or similar machine learning platforms.
- Experience in the insurance industry or marketing analytics.
