We’re one of the fastest-growing marketplaces, and now we’re looking for a Data Scientist, Marketing to power smarter decision-making and scalable growth.


💻 Role

You will be the analytical backbone of our marketing efforts, driving insights from data exploration to model deployment. Your work will influence how we invest in marketing channels, personalize user engagement, and measure ROI at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and interpret experiments to optimize performance across marketing channels (paid media, lifecycle marketing, influencer partnerships, etc.).

  • Build and maintain attribution models to understand customer journeys and channel impact.

  • Develop forecasting and optimization tools for budget allocation and campaign performance.

  • Partner with marketing, product, and engineering to create segmentation and personalization strategies.

  • Establish measurement frameworks for new channels and campaigns.

  • Present actionable insights to leadership with clarity and impact.

Location requirement: Team members must be within commuting distance of our hubs in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in data science, analytics, or applied statistics (marketing/growth focus preferred).

  • Advanced SQL and Python (or R) skills for data manipulation and modeling.

  • Experience with MMM, incrementality testing, and causal inference.

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing ecosystems (paid social, search, display, email, affiliate).

  • Strong background in A/B and multivariate testing.

  • Excellent communication, translating analysis into business insights.

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.


💰 Compensation

For US-based applicants: $205,000 – $240,000/year + benefits + equity
(Final offer depends on level, experience, and expertise.)
