  • Lead DLA’s AI risk management and ensure compliance with DoD and OMB guidance.

  • Evaluate algorithms, tools, and processes to enhance AI adoption.

  • Oversee AI acquisition, deployment, and integration across DLA organizations.

  • Provide strategic oversight on responsible AI ethics, governance, and reporting.

  • Advise senior leaders, prepare briefings, and represent DLA to external audiences.

  • Identify program gaps, create corrective action plans, and promote innovation.

  • Leadership in AI ethics and compliance within federal or defense organizations.

  • Strong ability to design strategic AI adoption frameworks and align them with agency goals.

  • Knowledge of structured and unstructured data analysis, AI governance, and implementation oversight.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and manage multi-agency AI initiatives.


Compensation & Eligibility

  • Federal GS-15 grade level position (equivalent to senior-level private sector roles).

  • Applicants must meet time-in-grade and eligibility requirements.

  • Both paid and volunteer experience may count toward qualifications.
