Let Us Tell You a Bit About The Opportunity

You will play a key role in a result-driven, dynamic and fast-paced environment, alongside a highly specialised team. In this role you will be expected to take a lead support role in the Finance data systems and regulatory reporting processes. Your responsibilities include supporting BAU data processes; building, testing, and executing changes; developing automation processes; maintaining or creating new data processing workflows; and coordinating with upstream and downstream data providers and receivers.

What will your day look like?

  • Provide technical support to the business stakeholders including troubleshooting on the data transformation/processing, data provisioning and database performance improvement.
  • Take part in data governance activities including supporting data glossary and data flow documentation, data quality issue investigation, data validation & reconciliation report review, investigation and improvement.
  • Support Finance & Treasury projects where you will design, plan and develop SQL and Python based changes.
  • Design, test and execute SQL change tasks in Finance and Treasury ETL solutions in BAU environment.
  • Business functional and technical requirements elicitation and documentation for BAU changes and various finance projects.
  • Continuously identify and execute system improvements, to maintain a lean, efficient, and reliable solutions.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong SQL Server (or similar RDMS) data querying (including DML and DDL) skills. Solid database administration (performance troubleshooting, maintenance, space optimization) knowledge.
  • Intermediate or above Python skills on automation and data manupulation.
  • Hands-on experience changing or maintaining data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience with large complex projects preferably in finance sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good technical documentation skills
  • Be able to plan workload, manage expectations and work under pressure.
