We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-level databases with high availability (HA) configurations. This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database technologies, disaster recovery solutions, performance tuning, and data security management. The ideal candidate will also bring extensive knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments and advanced database tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and database management, including enhancement, maintenance, and performance tuning.

  • Design and maintain logical and physical database models, ensuring efficient storage, scalability, and security.

  • Manage Oracle enterprise databases with HA configurations for reliability and resilience.

  • Administer Oracle Data Guard and other disaster recovery processes.

  • Execute RMAN backup and recovery strategies to ensure data safety.

  • Implement Oracle Advanced Security features to safeguard sensitive data.

  • Monitor database performance and conduct performance tuning for optimal efficiency.

  • Use utilities and 3rd-party tools to support data storage management and monitoring.

  • Establish user access levels, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with security protocols.

  • Perform data modeling, prototyping, and database search strategy development.

  • Maintain and enforce data dictionary standards for consistency and data integrity.

  • Assist with database installations, upgrades, and benchmarking.

  • Support disaster recovery planning and execution in collaboration with IT teams.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Multitenant databases, Oracle Advanced Security, PL/SQL, and Linux/UNIX environments.

  • Experience with high availability (HA) configurations, backup/recovery strategies, and performance tuning.

  • Proficiency in database utilities, scripting, and monitoring tools.

  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Golden Gate replication and enterprise database migration.

  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design best practices.

  • Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, security auditing, and compliance standards.
