Database Administrator Apprentice – WebMD
WebMD, the most trusted name in health information, is seeking a Database Administrator Apprentice to join our Data Management team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge databases and big data technologies in a dynamic environment.
About the Role
As an apprentice, you will:
- Support and manage diverse databases, including Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, InfluxDB, Vertica, Hadoop, and Oracle.
- Work with data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to optimize performance and scalability.
- Utilize Java, Python, SQL, and JavaScript to develop and maintain data solutions.
- Gain real-world experience with Spark projects and DevOps practices.
What We Offer
- $20/hr for the first 6 months with potential for a full-time salaried position based on performance.
