What You’ll Do as a Decontamination Technician
As a Decontamination Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining patient safety and supporting surgical excellence at KIMS Hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and checking used surgical instruments after procedures

Preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments for reuse

Carefully assembling surgical instrument trays to meet exacting standards

Accurately logging and tracking instruments using our digital systems

Completing all tasks with precision, efficiency, and care to ensure the best outcomes for patients
Key Responsibilities for a Decontamination Technician
Your day-to-day duties will involve:

Ensuring instruments are correctly processed through decontamination cycles

Maintaining detailed and accurate records for all equipment

Working closely with the clinical teams to support surgical schedules

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:

Educated to a good general standard with strong literacy and numeracy skills

Confident using IT systems and able to follow strict procedures

Highly process-driven with excellent attention to detail

A reliable team player with strong time management and problem-solving skills
Desirable:

Previous experience in a CSSD or Decontamination Unit
