Job Overview

As a Warehouse-Delivery Driver at Womack Electric, you’ll play a dual role in both warehouse operations and product deliveries. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customer locations. This position involves physical work, driving, and working directly with team members and customers to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.

  • Deliver materials safely and on time to customer locations.

  • Perform warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and general housekeeping.

  • Develop familiarity with delivery routes and customer preferences.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • At least 6 months of related experience or a combination of relevant education and training.

  • Current medical certification card (or ability to obtain and maintain one).

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently standing, walking, reaching, bending, climbing, and stooping.

  • Lift and carry:

    • 1–20 lbs: Continuously

    • 21–50 lbs: Frequently

    • 51–100 lbs: Occasionally (with buddy-lift or mechanical aid)

  • Vision requirements for safe equipment and vehicle operation:

    • Close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
