Position Description: Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) – Westampton, NJ

Pay Range: $21.50 – $22.50/hour

At American Tire Distributors (ATD), we’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team in Westampton, NJ. This role is key to ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition. As a driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of merchandise to customer locations, providing outstanding service while maintaining professional interactions throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport products to assigned destinations in a timely manner
Unload and stage products at customer locations
Verify outgoing/incoming shipments for accuracy (size, quantity, type)
Collect customer payments, adhering to company policy
Ensure all required delivery documentation is completed and available for inspection
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Keep accurate driver logs, mileage records, fuel receipts, and other regulatory documents
Comply with all safety standards and DOT regulations
Occasionally operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications & Experience

Must be at least 21 years old
Valid Class “C” driver’s license or equivalent (per DOT requirements)
High school diploma or GED
Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

Must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs; handle and move tires of greater weight using proper techniques
May need to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or climb stairs during shift
Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions
Moderate noise level
Travel required up to 75% locally (no overnight travel required for non-CDL drivers)
