Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Manager to join our Modelling & Data Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely, accurate delivery of cutting-edge sports modelling products. You’ll coordinate across Data Science, Data Engineering, and Software teams to streamline project delivery, manage agile workflows, and ensure the reliability and performance of our model-driven forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering) to develop and optimize sports models and processes.
Define product requirements and manage delivery timelines from concept to deployment.
Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices (JIRA, Azure DevOps) to oversee the delivery lifecycle.
Act as the main point of contact for Modelling communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with leads to set KPIs and monitor model performance, accuracy, and latency.
Promote best practices in version control, documentation, and onboarding processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

A degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in STEM or related field.
2+ years of delivery or product management experience within the sports betting industry.
Deep understanding of sports modelling, odds compilation, and risk management.
Strong communication and time-management skills with the ability to influence and lead.
Knowledge of sports betting back-office architecture and modelling pipelines.
Experience using GIT, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and data visualisation/reporting tools.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Mathematical competency in statistics, probabilities, and matrices.

Desirable

A passion for American sports: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAB, NCAAF, Tennis, or Soccer.
