White Horse Dental Billing is hiring a skilled Dental Billing AR Specialist to manage full-cycle dental revenue processes for multiple practices. This role is focused on insurance claim AR and patient balance AR, ensuring accuracy, clean ledgers, and timely collections. Candidates must have direct dental billing experience (not medical billing) and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve unpaid or underpaid dental insurance claims

Submit corrected claims and appeals

Post insurance payments, denials, and adjustments

Apply contractual write-offs using in-network fee schedules
-
Audit ledgers for payment integrity
-
Send patient statements via Weave, DentalXchange, etc.

Call patients to collect balances professionally and compassionately

Document actions and collaborate with the team
Required Expertise
-
4+ years dental-specific billing & AR experience (required)
-
Remote dental billing experience (preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of PPO networks, COB, CDT codes, and claim workflows
-
Proficiency with Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, clearinghouses, Weave, Vyne, DentalXchange

Skilled in ledger audits, reconciliations, and payment posting
