Key Responsibilities of a Desktop Support Specialist
Daily Tasks as a Desktop Support Specialist

Deliver outstanding technical support and service across the organization, ensuring high responsiveness and accountability.

Manage Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server) and handle mobile device management through Intune.

Administer Active Directory and Entra ID Services.

Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms.

Handle VPN, remote access, and SASE solutions, ensuring seamless employee connectivity.

Maintain accurate documentation, contribute to cross-training, and improve service processes continuously.

Support audio/video conferencing technologies across global offices.
Skills Needed for a Desktop Support Role

3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within financial services trading environments.

Strong service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with ITIL, ITAM, and ITSM best practices.

Deep understanding of mobile device management (iOS/Android) and Microsoft technologies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solving complex technical issues effectively.
