Despatch Operative – Immediate Start! Responsibilities
As a Despatch Operative – Immediate Start!, your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing inventory and despatch tasks, including loading vehicles and receipting finished parts.

Controlling the stores area and maintaining inventory traceability.

Packing parts and ensuring ERP stock record accuracy.

Conducting stock takes and controlling shelf-life consumables.

Preparing parts for despatch with associated paperwork.

Producing commercial invoices when required.

Managing packing material stock levels and arranging necessary transportation.

Ensuring compliance with all packing and packaging specifications.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in the Despatch Operative – Immediate Start! role, you should possess:

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer literacy for maintaining ERP stock records.

Physical capability to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving goods.

Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is advantageous but not essential.
Position Details

Location: Alcester

Salary: £26,059 per annum (£12.85 per hour), rising to £27,803 (£13.71 per hour) after probation.

Role Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Hours: 39 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
