Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Deployment Planning: Develop and execute detailed deployment plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine deployment processes to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Change Management: Oversee change requests, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with established change management protocols.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve deployment-related incidents promptly to minimize business disruptions.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track deployment progress, monitor key performance metrics, and generate regular reports.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve deployment challenges in coordination with development and operations teams.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed, and up-to-date documentation of deployment procedures and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git and TFS.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Practical experience with cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Azure VMs, Azure Storage).
- Proven expertise in IT operations and deployment management.
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in ITIL, DevOps, or cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
