About the Role
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the development and integration of CI/CD pipelines and toolsets. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers and systems engineers to streamline deployment processes, automate infrastructure, and integrate a wide array of DevSecOps tools across on-premises, OpenShift, and AWS environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Write and update Jenkins-based Groovy scripts

  • Create and refine Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation

  • Troubleshoot deployment issues across hybrid environments (on-premises, OpenShift, AWS)

  • Support container-based microservice deployment using Helm charts

  • Automate routine tasks such as build staging, tagging, and environment variance corrections

  • Develop documentation for deployment processes and tools for developer reference

  • Monitor services and develop scripts to ensure system reliability

  • Integrate DevOps tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Artifactory, Robot Framework/Selenium, etc.

  • Collaborate with development teams to onboard and maintain microservices within CI/CD workflows

  • Support COTS product installation and automation within the infrastructure

  • Investigate and resolve integration and connectivity issues within deployed services


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with no experience (an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree)

  • Proficient in Linux environments

  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python

  • Hands-on experience with container platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes

  • Proficient with Git and version control best practices

  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and DevSecOps practices

  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP)

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, or TS with the ability to obtain SCI and a polygraph

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Java or another object-oriented programming language

  • Experience with Docker and Jenkins in automated CI/CD pipeline workflows

  • Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed software systems

  • TS/SCI with active polygraph preferred
