Role Objectives
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help design, implement, and optimize development tools and infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments. This role is essential to streamlining our software development and deployment processes while ensuring system security, reliability, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in automating workflows, supporting production systems, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure solutions are developed and delivered as intended.


Key Objectives

  • Design and implement development tools and infrastructure in both cloud and on-prem environments

  • Enhance and automate development and deployment pipelines to improve reliability and efficiency

  • Analyze and test code produced by others, providing actionable feedback

  • Ensure systems are secure and resilient against cybersecurity threats

  • Diagnose technical issues and implement timely software patches or updates

  • Partner with developers and engineers to maintain best practices in software development

  • Participate in project planning and contribute to key technical decisions


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes

  • Deploy system updates and fixes while offering Level 2 technical support

  • Create tools to improve stability and the end-user experience

  • Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement long-term solutions

  • Automate visualization and reporting through scripting

  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting, monitoring, and regular maintenance


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or related software engineering role

  • Strong proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python; experience with build tools like Maven

  • Working knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle and SQL

  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar

  • Familiarity with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable platforms

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience building and maintaining applications for enterprise-level organizations
